Biological Fluid Bank

About the project

The Maternal and Fetal Medicine Biobank promotes the collection of biological samples (serum, urine, DNA, amniotic fluid, and placental tissue) of cases of pregnancy complications, such as retarded intrauterine growth, preeclampsia, premature birth, monozygotic twins, fetal deformities, and genetic diseases. Samples are also collected from low-risk pregnant mothers and fetuses.
